Gone fishing!

Tory got to go fishing for the first time this summer, she loved it. This time I didn't think that we would catch anything there was a storm coming and it was getting very windy. Carl assured me that we just needed to wait and sure enough we did catch this little fish, Tory called it Dori.

Very carefully touching Dori

Pink or Blue

When we came back from our vacation to Disney Land we were pleasantly surprised to find out that our home would be growing by two little feet. It was along couple of months in the beginning, thankfully the yuckiness is gone and I can say that I am half way through the pregnancy now. When we were expecting Tory I did a scrapbook page of some of the predictions that people had. Sad to say I haven't been doing much scrapping lately, but I thought that a little diddy on the blog would be about the same. So here are some of the predictions.......

Uncle Owen and Aunt Shast - BLUE
Ginny - BLUE
Penny B. - PINK
Meg - 55% BLUE

Uncle Ian -PINK
Gigi - PINK
Auntie Jordge - PINK
Auntie Kaid - PINK
Mrytle - BLUE
Chrysta - PINK

Grandma Baisden - PINK
Grandpa Baisden - BLUE

And the Answer is......... BLUE

Go to TIME OUT....

This year I was lucky enough to get to go to Time Out. I was so excited it was the first time that I had been away from Tory over night. Which was kind of different. I got to go stay with friends in a hotel, go shopping, eat out and enjoy Time Out. There were amazing speakers and I came home that weekend with a renewed sense of who I want to be and what I want to stand for. It was so much fun and I am so grateful that Carl and Tory had a good time together too.

A much needed fence

Needless to say I'm pretty sure that nothing will grow in my garden if I don't get a fence. So with some help from Tory and a lot of sticks later we have this..

Our Spring Time

We took the dog to the creek one night, we thought that they would enjoy going for a walk but little did we know they would be swimming too. Mali is such the water dog the water was freezing and didn't stop her a bit, Chance on the other hand would get his feet wet but wasn't so excited to go all the way in.

Carl and Tory at the Falls

There is a farm down the road from us that had baby goats this year. There happened to be 3 babies that lost their mom so they were bottle feed and very friendly. It became a routine to go down and see them every night when Carl would come home. Tory would get so excited to go see the goats.

Cousins at Kaelynn's birthday get together - Molly, Kaelynn, Makenna, Mathew, Braden and Tory.

Naptime

What is it about a napping child....I always want to snuggle Tory when she is sleeping. She is so sweet and innocent while she is napping. Watching her sleep melts my heart.

This happened while we were at Gigi's. Poppie was tired and so Tory made sure that he had a pillow and some of her blanket and then snuggled next to him.

Fire, Fire!

Do we need to call the fire department for that fire? Happy Birthday to you Poppie and Giggi - How old are you now?

The Happiest Place on Earth - Disney Land

We started our morning with a stop at Krispie Kream with Poppie - Tory was very excited to have a donut. We met Chrysta, Bryan and Bean at the airport, made it though security car seat, stroller and bags along with two small children pretty smoothly, thanks to Bryan being the man and first helping Chrysta and then coming back to help me. We would be meeting Carl in Cali ... he was already there for work.

We stayed in the Disneyland Resort. Our room was right next to Chrysta and Bryan's. It was so much fun to be on vacation with them. Tory and Braeden had a great time together. One morning we were able to go into Toon Town early. They had a little ceremony and then we were able to see all the characters - Tory loved it.

Tory was so excited to give Mickey a hug - it was so cute.

Mickey's chickens they make me smile

Tory's very first roller coaster....it ended up being a little to much for her but we made it through. Good thing it was quick.

When we came to Disneyland in 2008 Tory was just 9 weeks old. The Peter Pan ride was one of the rides that we were able to go on together and now here we are a big girl sporting her Mickey ears - crazy how time flies.

We ate breakfast with Minnie and some of the other character in the park one morning, it was so good and the kids loved all the character except for Captin Hook, Tory was alittle shy about giving him a hug.

Oh how we love Tow-Mater

Breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen way YUMMY

Tory loved the Dumbo ride, we would go back in forth between Dumbo, the horses and It's a Small World.

On our way home, we had so much fun. Tory and Carl are already talking about when we'll go again. Tory asks everyone we are around "Remember in Disneyland......" it's so cute. I'm pretty sure she had a wonderful time and can't wait until she is 4 so that she can go again.
