The Happiest Place on Earth - Disney Land

We started our morning with a stop at Krispie Kream with Poppie - Tory was very excited to have a donut. We met Chrysta, Bryan and Bean at the airport, made it though security car seat, stroller and bags along with two small children pretty smoothly, thanks to Bryan being the man and first helping Chrysta and then coming back to help me. We would be meeting Carl in Cali ... he was already there for work.

We stayed in the Disneyland Resort. Our room was right next to Chrysta and Bryan's. It was so much fun to be on vacation with them. Tory and Braeden had a great time together. One morning we were able to go into Toon Town early. They had a little ceremony and then we were able to see all the characters - Tory loved it.

Tory was so excited to give Mickey a hug - it was so cute.

Mickey's chickens they make me smile

Tory's very first roller coaster....it ended up being a little to much for her but we made it through. Good thing it was quick.

When we came to Disneyland in 2008 Tory was just 9 weeks old. The Peter Pan ride was one of the rides that we were able to go on together and now here we are a big girl sporting her Mickey ears - crazy how time flies.

We ate breakfast with Minnie and some of the other character in the park one morning, it was so good and the kids loved all the character except for Captin Hook, Tory was alittle shy about giving him a hug.

Bean loving Minnie's nose

Oh how we love Tow-Mater

Breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen way YUMMY

Tory loved the Dumbo ride, we would go back in forth between Dumbo, the horses and It's a Small World.

On our way home, we had so much fun. Tory and Carl are already talking about when we'll go again. Tory asks everyone we are around "Remember in Disneyland......" it's so cute. I'm pretty sure she had a wonderful time and can't wait until she is 4 so that she can go again.

2010 Plunge

Who wouldn't love to jump into a cold lake at noon on New Year's Day?
This year Jordan, Hannah, Kinzo and I did the Polar Bear Plunge together. It was most invigorating. Warmer than years past and we made it on the news, quite an accomplishment. All in all I love doing this it gives you a refreshing start to a new year. Hannah and I actually ran in twice, buy the second time our feet were ready to be done. Kaidan and Mom came to to hold Tory (who wanted to get in the water), to cheer us on and take pictures.

Mammie aka Sammie

Tory loves Sammy so much. Carl started getting him out for her and now it has become a routine thing. Every time we go into the spare room where he lives she says "Mammie, Mammie" wanting Carl to get him out for her to hold him.

She is so proud when he'll sit on her finger or arm and stay.

Christmas Time

We spent Christmas Eve at my Mom's with everyone. We had a yummy crab dinner and enjoyed good company. Tory loves to look at the pictures on any camera, and Gigi had hers out to take some Christmas tree pictures. Tory noticed and wanted to see all her photos.

Christmas morning at home, Tory excited about her orange in her stocking.

Jackson loved his treats as did Chance and Mali

These shoes I bought in 2001, I thought that they were to cute to pass up. I put them in my hope chest where they lived for quite some time but, this Christmas Tory's feet fit into them. So exciting! It just goes to show you that dreams can come true. It has been so amazing to have Tory in our lives. She is our little miracle and I love her so much.
