How lovely are your Branches

We went Christmas tree hunting two days after Thanksgiving this year. We met Chrysta, Bryan and Bean at the cute tree farm. It was a little chilly but at least the ground was frozen so no mud which was good. It was so fun to search for the perfect tree, sip the apple cider and look at all the Christmas things in the little shop there.

Our babies are getting so big!

We had such a lovely tree this year.

The things you'll do for a GREAT deal!

Let's just start of by saying I LOVE BLACK FRIDAY! I love the excitement, the good deals, the crazy people and the early morning. Shasta on the other hand thinks that I'm crazy but I have been able to convince her that the black Friday sale at JoAnn's is worth while. This is the 3rd year that I have gone and the 2nd one that Shast and I have gone together to. This year we weren't in town like last so we had to get up pretty early to get to the store by 6am. Thanksgiving night I was a retard, I was so excited to go I couldn't sleep I was afraid that I would sleep through my alarm and miss it. I think that I was up until 1:30. I know I'm retarded. It was all worth it though. We got amazing deals on nice flannel. It's safe to say that I have my years worth of flannel storage. People better start having babies so I can put it to use.

Keep your eye on the goal....just look at all that nice fabric

Just a little bit of flannel, maybe we could some more or maybe we missed a cute print....Should we go look again?

Trick or treat, Trunk or treat.

I thought that is was cute to see every ones feet that went to their costumes.

Happy Halloween every one can wait for next year.

Just because, they make me happy

Something about birds makes me smile and on this day when it was particularly grey outside. I was in a parking lot when I looked over at this rose bush and noticed that is was covered in birds. I was so glad that I had my camera. Don't they just cheer you up?

Clark Grizwald syndrome

You know that your husband is serious about Christmas lights when this shows up at your house. Leave it to Carl and his Dad to think that this is the way to go with decorating the outside of our house. Not to mention that this was October 30th and we hadn't even carved our pumpkins yet. Non the less Carl did an amazing job this year with our lights, he got all the way to the top of our trees. John even came over to help and get in on the excitement of the lift.

GOBBLE Waddle

Thanksgiving day after the bird was in the oven I was able to convince Penny to do the Turkey Trot with me. It was a lot of fun, the road that it was on was along the river so we had nice views the whole way. Maybe it will become a tradition.

Two!

Hard to believe that our baby is two and not a little baby anymore. It seems that the past two years went so quickly. We have gone from sleepless nights, and new born issues to Tory repeating everything that you say and want to do things herself. She has taught me so much about life, being a mom and how to just laugh no matter what the situation is. She is so special and means the world to us. Happy Birthday Baby Girl.

We were able to continue on the tradition of going to the pumpkin patch this year. Tory loved looking for pumpkins especially the little ones. This year was Bean's first year at the patch. It was so fun to pull him and Tory around in the wagon together.

Tory got a special gift from Great Grammy this year a cute little going to Gigi's bag with a blanket, little piggy, jammies and a bed time story. She loves her bad as I do as well, it is such great gift.

Tory was so excited to see the big kitties at Cat Tails. The cats on the other hand thought that she would make a tasty treat, every time Tory would walk around they would get all worked about and passe back and forth starring her down. Kind of scary, so we held her most of the time.

Tory getting ready to eat her first 2nd birthday cake.

A sweet young woman that we know makes amazing cakes and she so nicely made Tory one for her birthday. Tory was so excited to eat it. It was so lovely and delicious. We loved it.

There were lots of guest at our house for a party for Tory and a few out of town guest, one of them was my Dad. He hadn't ever been to our house and we were so excited to have him hear. Aunt Connie, Uncle Bruce, Josh and Vickie also came. Everyone stayed in a sweet little B&B in town. So the morning after the party we all met together for breakfast. It was so nice to enjoy every ones company and have my Dad there. The whole weekend was full of family and friends with Tory's party, breakfast the next day and then my Mom, Jimbob, Jordan, Hunter, Kaid and Ruby came up for our wards Trunk or treat. It was such a wonderful weekend, my heart is so full from all the love that I feel from all our family and friends. What a great way to celebrate our amazing little girl.
